Christina Snowden

Christina Snowden received her college degree, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA.  She later received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix.  Christina has managed state level programs for Maine Department of Education and Delaware Department of Education.  These projects focused on performance management, professional  development for teacher effectiveness, quality assurance processes in the development of assessments and performance based measures, and federals compliance regulations.

Christina Snowden is an 11 year veteran and held multiple military occupations such as, a supply and logistics specialist and, also as a chaplain’s assistant.  As Executive Director of AKCCL, Christina is responsible leading the company in its mission, managing all business operations and programs, ensure the fiscal integrity of the organization, develops company policies, design and develop programs and ensures that all programs are within federal compliance.  It is her passion to create solutions that address educational inequities due to social and economic hardship, while supporting at risk youth. It is her goal to for this organization to truly be a resource to the community that will continually address emerging community needs and hardship affecting today’s youth and disadvantaged families. Along side serving as Executive Director, Ms. Snowden is and adjunct professor with Upper Iowa University in the College of Business.
